Livingseas, Padangbai

Livingseas Foundation has been restoring reef off Padangbai, a fishing village on Bali's east coast, since 2019. Frames are assembled by hand on the shore, loaded onto a jukung with the tanks, and dropped onto the seabed, where they're planted with coral and left to grow. It is one of the largest restoration sites in Indonesia, and a partner project of the TUI Care Foundation.
